The Health- -Communication (HEC) is a cloud-based, HIPAA compliant, secure, social networking and care delivery platform that adapts to the whatever technology users choose. Using any internet capable device, the HEC platform enables patients to include loved-ones into important, issue-specific clinical discussions and allows
those who care for the patient to participate by asking questions or posting comments. Our goal is a mechanism that facilitates communication about clinical issues with all those who are important to the patients’ well being.
HEC is designed for asynchronous communication with all who must or should be involved with a person’s care. Family and friends can see the discussions, needs, and progress of their loved ones. All permissions are granted by the patient to whomever they wish to participate in specific discussions; thus, allowing the patient to control their privacy in a HIPAA compliant manner.
With HEC, it does not matter where you’re located or in which time zone you find yourself. You can always keep abreast of the most current information regarding your loved-one, on your schedule and allows you to contribute to the conversation as well.
